Chad Hymas
Who Needs Legs When You Have Wings
Chad Hymas’ life changed dramatically at the age of 27 when a tragic accident left him a quadriplegic. Despite this life-altering event, Chad has become an inspirational speaker, entrepreneur, and world-class athlete. Recognized by the state of Utah as the Superior Civilian of the Year, Chad’s resilience and determination have set him apart as a leader in overcoming adversity.
At just 37, Chad became the youngest recipient of the prestigious CPAE Award and was inducted into the National Speakers Hall of Fame, an honor that only a select few achieve. A proud member of the National Speakers Association, Chad has delivered over 220 speaking engagements annually, traveling up to 300,000 miles each year to inspire audiences around the world.
Chad is the president of his own communications company and internet marketing firm, and he is also a published author. His book, Soaring to New Heights, has become a regional bestseller.
Beyond his professional success, Chad is also an accomplished wheelchair athlete, competing in sports such as basketball, wheelchair rugby, hang-gliding, and snow skiing. In July 2003, he set a World Record by wheeling over 500 miles from Salt Lake City to Las Vegas, completing a personal marathon that pushed the limits of endurance and determination.
Chad and his wife are the proud parents of four children and reside on a 200-acre wildlife preserve in Rush Valley, Utah. His story is one of courage, perseverance, and transformative leadership.
Chad’s presentations are designed not only to inspire and motivate but to create lasting impact. His topics, including Leadership, Team Building, Customer Service, and Mastering Change, are delivered with passion, energy, and a message that resonates deeply with audiences.
