Frank Coppersmith is the CEO of Smarter Reality (https://www.smarterreality.io/), a software development compnay based in Austin, Texas. Recognized as an Inc. 5000 company, an Austin “Fast 50” honoree, and Financial Times 500 firm, Smarter Reality supports entrepreneurs and business leaders in creating innovative technologies and products. Frank is an accomplished executive with experience across various industries, including training and simulation, gaming and entertainment, defense, e-commerce, and enterprise resource planning on web, mobile, and PC.
A seasoned entrepreneur, Frank has successfully raised funding from top-tier VCs and led companies from formation through acquisition and exit. He is a frequent speaker on the intersection of technology and society, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence's opportunities and challenges. He has been awarded multiple patents on technologies for entertainment, training, and computer vision, and was named Austin’s “CFO of the Year” in 2010. Frank holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a law degree from Samford University and a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from The Citadel.
