Frank Supovitz
President & Chief Experience Officer
Frank Supovitz has been at the helm of some of the world’s most prestigious and most widely viewed sports and entertainment events for more than 35 years. As the Senior Vice President of Events for the NFL from 2005 to 2014, he oversaw the management of events including the Super Bowl and the NFL Draft, among many other marquee events. Frank also led the NHL’s event team for 13 years, responsible for the NHL All-Star Weekend, Stanley Cup, and international competitions in Europe and Japan. He co-developed the NHL’s first outdoor stadium game with the Edmonton Oilers in 2003, the predecessor of the league’s highly-successful NHL Winter Classic.
Supovitz founded Fast Traffic in 2014, an event management and consulting company with clients that have included the Indy 500, Pro Football Hall of Fame, Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer, the National Rugby League (Australia), and the South Street Seaport in New York City.
Frank is an adjunct professor at Adelphi University and the author of five books, including What to Do When Things Go Wrong: A 5-Step Guide to Planning for and Surviving the Inevitable – and Coming Out Ahead (2019) and The Sports Event Management & Marketing Playbook, 3rd edition (2024). He received an honorary doctorate in Sports, Event, and Entertainment Management from Johnson & Wales University in 2003, and appeared as “The Boss” in the truTV series NFL Full Contact in 2010, as well as in a cameo role as himself in Ivan Reitman’s 2014 film Draft Day.
