Jason’s journey of perseverance began in East Oakland, CA, where as the second of six children in a single-parent home, he learned the value of dedication and hard work. His determination to avoid a life of poverty and mediocrity led him to earn a congressional nomination to the United States Air Force Academy, launching a highly accomplished military career. His service has been recognized with numerous military awards and decorations, demonstrating his commitment to excellence. Jason believes that excellence is a continuous journey, not a destination—an ethos he passed on to hundreds of future Air Force leaders as an instructor at the U.S. Air Force Academy.

In addition to his speaking and consulting engagements, Jason continues to serve as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force Reserve, where he works as a Joint Mobility Planner at the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and U.S. Northern Command. He also serves as an International First Officer with American Airlines, further exemplifying his commitment to leadership and excellence in all areas of his life.
