Unforgettable Keynotes That Empower, Entertain, and Educate Your Audience
Michael is the author of the NY Times Bestselling book, The Color of Rain, which was adapted into the highest-rated Hallmark movie in history. He is also the co-founder of the New Day Foundation for Families, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families battling cancer. In 2023, Michael delivered a TEDx talk on the powerful topic of agape love.
A seasoned media personality, Michael was a contributing editor for Home Life Magazine and co-host of the Your Family Matters radio show on the Salem Broadcasting Network. He has made numerous appearances on major media outlets, including The Today Show, ABC World News, Huckabee, Fox News, Home and Family, the Hugh Hewitt Show, and various radio programs.
Before transitioning to his current roles, Michael honed his creative and business skills at The Second City Theater in Chicago, where he trained under comedy legends such as Del Close, Martin DeMaat, and Jo Forsberg. There, he learned how to cultivate a “Yes, and” mindset—a principle that continues to influence his business approach.
Michael spent the majority of his professional career in consulting and finance, partnering with prominent organizations like Anheuser-Busch, The Dwyer Group, Nordick Franchising, Thrivent, Allstate, and Equitable Advisors.
An avid golfer and a reluctant pickleball player, Michael believes that March Madness and any game at Wrigley Field are the pinnacle of sports. He also dedicated over 30 years to coaching high school basketball in both California and Michigan. Michael and his wife Gina are the proud parents of five grown children.
